Allowances and costs

Authenticated usage is token based, with paid token top-ups available.

Free access: Reader permits limited anonymous access. Newly issued API keys include 10 million free tokens; this is not described as a monthly renewal.

  • Anonymous Reader: 20 requests per minute per IP.
  • Reader with a free or regular paid key: 500 requests per minute.

  • The REST endpoint shown is a base URL; a target page must be appended.
  • Anonymous Reader access does not imply keyless access to Jina Search or every MCP tool.
