Public beta · Discover services and inspect source evidence. Provider access and pricing may change.
PUBLIC BETA · READ-ONLY DISCOVERY

A useful first stop
for your agent.

Find the right kind of service. Read how it connects. See what the evidence actually supports.

SEE THE PATH BEFORE YOU BUILD

One small, live discovery.

This reads ToolSkipper’s catalogue. It does not test or call a provider.

  1. 01

    Connect to ToolSkipper

    Check the discovery MCP handshake and available tools.

    Read-only request
  2. 02

    Find a candidate

    Search the current catalogue for an MCP web search service.

    Read-only request
  3. 03

    Read the evidence

    Inspect connection requirements and recorded source evidence.

    Read-only request

No sign-in, provider credentials or payment required for discovery.

USE THE PATH THAT FITS YOUR HOST

Bring it into your workflow.

Remote MCP

Add this public Streamable HTTP endpoint to a compatible agent host. Discovery works without sign-in; provider execution and private records use a separate authenticated connection.

URL-based configuration

      "url": "https://toolskipper.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

A small JavaScript client

One file for Node 22+, no dependencies. Only discovery tools are allowed; requests are bounded and never retried automatically. Public discovery calls work without signing in.

Download clientSave as toolskipper-client.mjs beside your script. Review the source before running. Browser use requires ToolSkipper’s own origin or your own same-origin server proxy; direct cross-origin browser calls are not supported.
Use the JavaScript client
import { createToolSkipperClient } from "./toolskipper-client.mjs";
const toolskipper = createToolSkipperClient();
await toolskipper.initialize();
await toolskipper.listTools();
const result = await toolskipper.callTool("search_services", {
  requestJson: JSON.stringify({
    query: "web search", protocol: "MCP", limit: 3
  })
});
console.log(result);
Prefer a single REST request?

The catalogue also has a public HTTP interface. This example works without sign-in. Check the returned applied filters before using a result.

curl 'https://toolskipper.com/api/services?q=web%20search&protocol=MCP&view=compact&limit=3'

OPTIONAL LOCAL HELPER

Add a small, working tool.

Our API Anything helper reads Hacker News posts for a domain. It runs in your local agent host with a fresh browser profile and returns structured records.

Explore the helper

Discovery is the beginning.

Read source dates, unknowns and setup gaps before connecting a provider. Execution and saved results use separate authenticated workflows, with their own user consent and limits.
